The theme of the 1996 AGM of the GTV was "Reformed Dynamics Today!" This paper is the opening address, supposed, according to the programme, to be on "Fundamental truths of the Reformed faith.” The author, however, preferred to call it "Core truths of being Reformed", reflecting a more dynamic, existential and inclusive approach.
