In this article the problem of assimilating new members into congregational structures is addressed. A further aim of the article is to offer a possible contribution to the role of ministry structures in local churches - structures which may promote effective assimilation of new members in such a way that these new members will spontaneously apply and minister their gifts to other people. The object of this ministering involves existing members of the congregation as well as individuals not yet evangelized or assimilated into existing local churches.
