This article discusses the Syriac manuscript 12t4, the most important Nestorian Psalm manuscript. A survey is presented of existing descriptions of this manuscript, with special reference to the description of Scher (1907). Important information not mentioned by the descriptions is di.decussed. This information is related to the division of the Psalter into five books, the division of individual Psalms in the Hebrew, Greek and Syriac versions and the headings of the Psalms. With regard to the latter, the format of the headings and the origin of the five different headings are discussed.
